The Traditional Boer Music Club has a rich heritage since its inception in 1981.

Through the dedicated labour of many individuals, the club has launched numerous projects, which, in conjunction with independent activities of other institutions all contribute to the goals of the club.

Local branches of the club have been founded to encourage country wide participation in boer music activities.
